I don’t have a solid answer to the question “What do you do?”, though my current passions in life are making great food and going beautiful places! Firstly, inward to find peace and love, and then outward to share these gifts with the world.
But before making a creative turn, my lifepath looked quite differently!..
Many moons ago I got a degree in Computer Science and worked a tech job. It was an awesome period of life β tons of new information, many smart people to look up to… still something was missing for me in that job. So I started to dip my toes into baking and bring my sweet creations to work. Huh, it might be the reason some of colleagues became my best friends! π
About a year and a half into this “dual” life, I decided to make a huge leap of faith and quitted the job. After catching the breath, I poured my energy into baking cakes to order and building a social running club in Ukraine. Somewhere along the line, I got married and β as if it were not enough changes! β our new family moved overseas.
So here I am sitting on a sofa in San Francisco sharing this story with you. Honestly, I don’t know where I’m heading. I used to see the world in black and white. I used to think there was only one path, and if I was not succeeding in it, I was failing. Until I realized these beliefs made me very unhappy.
I guess, it’ll be fair to say, I’m a recovering perfectionist on a journey to live a happier life! I believe in spirit animals, value friendship and appreciate honesty.
Am I food photographer? Yes. Am I story teller? Yes.Β But I allow myself to be someone else in the future.Β Thank you for letting me share this wild ride with you!
